In conclusion instead of fearing death, which is inedible. We should live this life preparing our spirit for the life to come. We have this time only to prepare a life that is pleasing to God.
Paul exhorted the Thessalonians in 1st Thessalonians 5 beginning in verse 1 but of the time in Seasons Brethren, you have no need that. I write unto you for yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord cometh as a thief in the night for when they shall say peace and safety then sudden Direction destruction cometh upon them as travail upon a woman with child.
A child and they shall not Escape but you Brethren are not in darkness that that day should overtake you as a thief you’re all children of light and the children of the day. We are not of the night nor of Darkness therefore let us not sleep as do others, but let us watch and be sober.
You know, we ask the question. Can we can we say as Paul said in second Timothy 4 verse 6. I am now ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous judge shall give me at that day and not to me only but unto all them also that love his appearing. So we asked the question. Are you ready for the Judgment Day?
Time is no boundary age is not a boundary. Are you ready for that day to come to physical death life and a physical death the time of preparation spiritual life and spiritual death the Judgment of God.
Our time on this Earth is to prepare a spirit is God would have us to be to express those attributes of the the spirit described in Galatians 5 verse 22, love joy, peace, long-suffering gentleness, goodness Faith meekness and temperance.
They that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the passions and lusts if we live in the spirit, let us walk in the spirit.
The time we have left in this life is short behind the time we have left in the next is eternal. No man knows the time he has left.
And 1st 2nd Corinthians 5:10. He says there’s a great day coming for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body according to that he hath done whether it be good or bad in James 5 and 8. He says be she ought to be also patient stablish your hearts for the coming of the Lord draw.
